Spring is in the air, finally! Well, it’s gloomy and rainy today, but still, it’s officially spring, and until a few days ago the weather was acting like it was. It got me pretty excited for putting together my spring wardrobe, and it meant that it was time to do some inspirational online searching for key items, to get me in the right spring mood!
As I am a big fan of soft pinks and luxurious materials, this amazing Diane von Furstenberg dress is the perfect choice, as it’s both pink and made of wool and silk. The colour and pattern just screams spring, and the little collar makes it appropriate as work attire as well as casual wear. I’d love to add some edge to the dress with some cool, thick metallic bracelets like this one by Marc By Marc Jacobs. Now we’ve all heard that the loved designer is going to quit his secondary line Marc By Marc Jacobs, so this might be our last chance to purchase some of his beautiful, affordable and timeless jewellery. I truly believe that bracelets like these ones can go with any outfit and spice up any casual attire, which makes our lives so much easier, doesn’t it?
Baby blue is a colour that will never lose it’s charm, if you ask me. It goes great with neutral, calm colours like grey, white and black. But if you truly want to go for a unique spring look, it’s great combined with pastels and soft pinks. My go to affordable yet chic brand for hand-and shoulder bags lately has been Rebecca Minkoff. The quality is great, and the prices even greater!
To finish off the whole look, we need a pair of great shoes and funky sunglasses. This pair by Dior is really great to give a little extra bit of edge to a soft and sweet look, and will catch people’s eye for certain. Add a pair of simple but stylish stiletto sandals, preferably with a touch of baby blue or soft pink, for example these by Mulberry and you’re good to go!
Spring, roll on, baby.
